1. Services

A|Y Skin Studio provides beauty and skincare services, including facials, brow services, waxing, and related treatments. Services are for cosmetic and relaxation purposes only.

A|Y Skin Studio does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Any skincare advice provided is for general educational purposes and should not replace advice from a licensed medical professional.

2. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information before receiving any service. This includes allergies, skin conditions, medications, recent cosmetic procedures, pregnancy, use of retinoids, acne medication, exfoliating products, prescriptions, recent sun exposure, laser treatments, peels, or injectables.

Failure to disclose important information may increase the risk of irritation, allergic reaction, injury, or undesired results.

3. Contraindications and Right to Refuse Service

A|Y Skin Studio reserves the right to refuse, modify, or stop any service if we believe it may not be safe or appropriate for the client.

Services may be refused or rescheduled due to active skin infections, open wounds, severe irritation, sunburn, allergic reactions, contagious conditions, unsafe skin conditions, failure to complete required forms, inappropriate behavior, late arrival, or any condition that may create risk for the client or provider.

4. Results Are Not Guaranteed

Every client's skin is different. Results may vary based on skin type, skin condition, lifestyle, home care, consistency, genetics, and other factors.

A|Y Skin Studio does not guarantee specific results from any service, product, treatment, or recommendation. Clients may not see desired results if they do not follow the recommended treatment plan, aftercare instructions, home care routine, or service schedule.

Some services may cause temporary redness, sensitivity, dryness, breakouts, irritation, or mild discomfort. By booking a service, clients acknowledge that these reactions may occur.

5. Booking and Appointments

Appointments may be booked through the website, booking system, or approved contact method.

Clients must provide accurate contact information when booking. A|Y Skin Studio is not responsible for missed confirmations, reminders, or updates due to incorrect information.

6. Deposits and Payments

A deposit may be required to reserve an appointment. Deposits are applied toward the total cost of the scheduled service.

Deposits may be non-refundable if the client cancels late, does not show up, or fails to follow the cancellation policy.

Full payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise stated.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Clients must cancel or reschedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance.

Late cancellations, same-day cancellations, or no-shows may result in loss of deposit, cancellation fee, requirement to prepay for future appointments, or refusal of future booking.

Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in limited booking privileges.

8. Late Arrival Policy

Clients may arrive up to 15 minutes late for their appointment.

After 15 minutes, the service may be shortened, rescheduled, or canceled depending on the schedule and the type of service booked. If the appointment cannot be safely completed, it may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show.

9. Refund Policy

All service sales are final once the service has been performed.

A|Y Skin Studio does not offer refunds for completed services. If a client has a concern about a service, they should contact A|Y Skin Studio within 48 hours so the situation can be reviewed.

Products, deposits, gift cards, and promotional purchases may be non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

10. Products and Aftercare

Clients will receive or be advised of an aftercare plan or instructions after their service.

If a client does not follow the aftercare plan, recommended home care, or service instructions, A|Y Skin Studio cannot guarantee results and is not responsible for poor results, irritation, or complications caused by failure to follow aftercare.

If irritation or a reaction occurs, clients should discontinue use of products and contact a medical professional if necessary.

11. Minors

Clients under the age of 16 require consent from a parent or legal guardian before receiving services.

A parent or legal guardian may be required to be present depending on the service.

12. Photos and Media

Before-and-after photos may be taken for documentation, progress tracking, or marketing purposes.

Photos will only be used for marketing or social media with client permission. Clients may decline photo use at any time.

13. Health and Safety

A|Y Skin Studio follows sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean and professional environment. Clients must also follow studio rules and communicate any health concerns before the appointment.

If a client is feeling sick, has a contagious condition, or has symptoms that may affect the safety of the appointment, they should reschedule.

14. Personal Belongings

A|Y Skin Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Clients should keep valuables with them at all times.

15. Marketing Emails and Communication

By creating an account, booking an appointment, or opting in to communications, clients may receive appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-up messages, promotions, and studio updates.

Clients may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Transactional emails related to an account, booking, or appointment may still be sent when necessary.

16. Website Use

Clients agree not to misuse the A|Y Skin Studio website, booking system, forms, or client portal.

Clients may not attempt to access restricted areas, interfere with the website, submit false information, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, A|Y Skin Studio is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages related to the use of the website, services, products, or recommendations.

By receiving services, clients acknowledge that beauty and skincare treatments involve some level of risk, including possible irritation, allergic reaction, redness, sensitivity, or undesired results.

18. Changes to Terms

A|Y Skin Studio may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the website or services means the client accepts the updated terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
